Whoever you are, making money is one thing that is very close to most peoples hearts because life without it, is not too easy.
But to the many who have it in abundance, it is something you just don't talk about; but needles to say I'm certainly are not one of the chosen few.
In my quest to improve my pension and subsidise our farming enterprise, I've looked down many avenues; come across many scams, not all on the internet!
The idea that I feel is head and shoulders above the rest are Private Label Rights and Master Resell Rights; from these 2, so many good businesses can grow, without to much knowledge, one of these can form the content for many good web sites.
With PLR it varies, but generally they give you the rights to the product and usually you can edit, change the product and put your name in as the product creator and resell the product.
Generally when you receive a PLR product it will in a zipped file, plain
instructions will be included as to what they will allow you to do.
There are a lot of other things that you can do with the product. You can
give it away as a bonus, use it to build content to use as an
autoresponder sequence to your list, use it as content for your web site,
break it down into smaller articles etc.
If you haven't been using PLR products, I've got some good news for you and
some bad news for you. The bad news is that you have been missing out, the
good news is that you can really start to make some serious money using PLR
products.
If you're going to make money online with PLR's you are going to have to be
able to manage your time better. One thing that using PLR products does, is
free up so much of your time.
You don't have to spend that time writing new products. You don't have to
write that content for your web site, you don't have to write all of those
articles etc.
That's huge because that's time that you could be spending doing other
things. You just have to find a place to get really good PLR products and
once you find that place you can keep coming back for more.
When you buy PLR products you have to look at it as an investment. It's
an investment because you're buying the product, in order to save time and
make money from it.
It's just like investing in a domain name or web hosting. We invest in those
things because we want to make money from our website.
Selling Private Label Rights Products
There are a ton of different ways to make money with PLR products. It all
depends on a person's situation and what they want to do with them.
I'm a big believer in having multiple streams of income, online. Too many
people just try and make money with one strategy and when they don't make
enough with it, they give up. If they had been getting income from different
areas, it would have been enough to make a living online.
That is why I use PLR products to make money in a lot of different areas.
The first thing that you can do is resell the product. Hopefully, they allow
you the right to remove their name and place your name as the author. Always
check what your rights are, when using them.
This is important because if you want to become known as an expert in a
market, whatever it may be, having a bunch of products, helps you greatly.
It's important to be known as a guru in your market for many reasons. One is
that it gets easier to sell products because of your reputation. Another
reason is that it gets a lot easier to get joint venture partners and the
ability to broker deals is a lot easier.
If a person wants to leave the original author there, to stay, that is all
right as well. The reason that this can be a good thing to do is if you
acquire PLR rights to a product to sell from a guru in a market. You might
not care about becoming a guru in a market and just want to make money. Go
ahead and sell it with the guru as the author.
Basically, all you have to do is write a sales page or hire someone to do it
for you. Then you just drive traffic to the sales page or do joint ventures
with people who have mailing lists in that market.
If you're worried about competing against other people who might be selling
the product, don't worry too much. The Internet is a huge place, there are
plenty of potential customers out there.
Using Private Label Rights for Content
One thing that you need to have if you're going to have a successful website
is great content. There is only so much time in a day and a person doesn't
have time to write it all.
Using those free articles from article directories for content, just isn't a
very good idea. One is that these articles are being used by so many other
people for content, it's just duplicate content and you aren't allowed to
alter the article in anyway, to make it more unique.
You also have to have a link to the author's website or websites. You don't
want people clicking on those links because it will take their attention
away from your website.
If you're not going to write the content yourself or use free articles,
there is another solution. That of course, is using PLR products for
content.
Using PLR products for content is great for many reasons. One is that you
don't have to write it, but there are other reasons. PLR products are
usually higher quality than free articles and you don't have to put links to
the author's websites.
Another big thing is that you can edit or change the content. That's huge
because you can take some things out and add some things. You can also add
keywords that you're targeting.
Another way that you can use PLR content is for articles. It's great to have
articles to help generate traffic to your website. You just research the
keywords that you want to use, put them in the article and add or get rid of
anything that you want.
Private Label Rights and Mailing Lists
Having a mailing list is a great way to make a lot of money. The problem is
that it can take awhile to build one and once you have one you have to keep
the people that are on the list, happy.
Here again, acquiring PLR products comes into play. You can find so many
great products out there, that you can use to build your mailing list.
You can even take a product and improve it a great deal. That will make it a
lot more appealing to the people that will join your list, just for the
product. By changing the name it can soon become another product, find a
name with punch and then it soon becomes easier to sell on EBay; without
competition.
Maybe, if the product is a little vague, go into things in more detail or
explain it better. It won't be that much work, but it will add a lot more
quality to it.
There is always the debate. Should I give away the product, in order to,
build my list? Should I sell the product and build the list at the same time
and risk not getting as many subscribers?
There's some compelling arguments for both. The main reason that I don't
like giving it away for free is because I don't want a bunch of freebie
seekers that will never pay for any information. It's trying to build a
balance were you are rewarding people but not ending up with only people who
are looking for something for nothing. We all like a freebie sometimes but
that will not build a business.
If you've got a list of people that have bought from you in the past. You
can't beat that. Once you have broken down that barrier and they trust you,
that is huge.
They have proven that they will reach into their wallet for you and that is
the first and most important step towards being a repeat customer. Most
people never get past that first, crucial step, so when they do, it's huge.
Plus, you make money from the sales. It's always good to see money coming
into your account, especially if a person is just starting out. That really
helps to build confidence. PLR and Membership Websites
There is a ton of money in owning your own membership website. It's also a
really good kind of income for people who make money online.
Anyone that makes money as an Internet Marketer, knows it isn't like a
normal job. Most people that have regular jobs know how much money they are
going to make for the month and even the year.
Do I know how much I'm going to make this year? Heck no. At least if you
have a membership site, you get recurring income, from month to month, that
you can count on.
There are a lot of different types of membership sites. Most have this in
common, they need a lot of information, in order to, be a good membership
site.
Well someone has to write this information. I can write like a madman, but
most people can't and even I can't do all of the writing myself. If you
can't do all of the writing yourself. You have to find someone who will help
you out. That is where PLR products come into play, yet again.
You can find products that allow you to add them to a membership site. You
simple acquire them and add them to your membership site and it's that
simple.
