Property Building
and Investing in Australia
for Non-Residents
Many of you think you would like to own either a holiday home or an
investment property at home or abroad but really don't know where to start
or think it is far to expensive, or possibly very complicated even if they
could afford it.
Just stop there, my husband and I hope to show you that it really is very
simple and rewarding to accomplish.
My reason for going there so often originally was because part of my family
were out there, giving me a wonderful opportunity to spend time there. On
one of my first visits I went on holiday to Shark Bay, where I feed and swam
with the Dolphins, visited shell beach and the pink lakes. A few years later
I persuaded my future husband to come with me, it was love at first sight,
especially when we went snorkelling on the coral reefs in Exmouth (a much
guarded gem) with the beautiful soft white sand. Or taking a light aircraft
to see the wilderness and outback near Broom and watch them round up cattle
with helicopters. it's the freedom and the walking back in time, some places
possible up to twenty years, but you'll still finding they have the Internet
and Satellite TV, it's a magical place, especially after the traffic on the
roads in the UK. Also a very safe life for children, they are not clued in
front of the TV but out on the beaches leaning to swimming, surfing, or
camping under canvas with the schools.
We're No Property Experts
It was when we were on holiday that we first decided we would like a holiday
property out there, that we could either use or let to pay for our holidays.
We were certainly not experts in the property market, just looking for a
diversion from farming and a little financial help with our fights and more
security and an investment for our future.
When we say You could also do it, we really mean it, the Australian people
are so friendly and we didn't find that they were out to rip you off. We
have met and made so many good friends while we have been involved with our
property developing out there, we recommend you to go and take a look and
also fall in love with the place as we have.
We spent one holiday, apart from seeing my family, looking at lots of
properties both old and new, also at building plots to get some idea of what
we would like and were we would like our property to be located.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time planning our holiday home; from should it be
a bungalow or house, shall we build or buy one built, number of bedrooms
etc. and we are sure you will have fun too. With our first property we were
really taken by the hand and found it totally non-stressful.
We have written a book giving you the facts and figures that we found when we decided we
would like to have a holiday home in Australia.
Just think about this... if you follow our example and go on holiday and
have a look at the opportunities of owning a property over there. Whether
you build or not You will have a wonderful time.
Happy dreaming.
